FOURTH SERIES OF LECTURES
Ten year after the first series of lectures (1984), the Folklife Museum organized a fourth series (1994) under the title ‘A first acquaintance with the culture of the Florina region', accompanying the self-titled exhibition (1992-1994).
The publication includes lectures-studies from this fourth series on the broader Monastiri region, the role of the church in Ohrid in the period of the Macedonian Struggle, the education in the region in the 19th century and the role of the Pedagogical Department in Florina, in teaching traditional culture today.
The academic documentation, the valuable extracts from original sources and the rich bibliography make this an extremely useful publication for its readers.
